Integrating Standardization: ASRO and openDBL’s Role in Shaping Future Research

ASRO (Romanian Standards Association) recently represented the openDBL project at a seminar on European Standardization for research projects, hosted by AID4GREENEST Project researcher Javier López-Quiles Pastor from UNE (Asociación Española de Normalización). The seminar emphasized the importance of incorporating standardization into research to ensure consistency, comparability, compatibility, and interoperability of results with existing technologies. This approach fosters alignment with established frameworks, helping research outcomes become more scalable and easily integrated into current systems.

ASRO’s participation highlighted openDBL’s commitment to embedding standards within its project framework, ensuring its solutions are aligned with industry norms. By collaborating with organizations like UNE and drawing on the insights shared at the seminar, openDBL aims to enhance the applicability and scalability of its digital solutions across industries, while contributing to a more interoperable technological landscape in Europe.

The openDBL project represents a significant leap forward in building management practices. By digitizing building information and offering a centralized platform for data management, openDBL will revolutionize the way buildings are maintained, leading to cost reductions, time savings, and enhanced sustainability.

We are proud to be part of this collaborative effort and excited about the positive impact openDBL will have on the building management industry.
