Los alcaldes de Mislata, Ruvo di Puglia y Kifissia rubrican el compromiso de hermanamiento en el marco de la celebración de un encuentro en la ciudad italiana por el proyecto europeo OpenDBL.

Dentro de este programa europeo en el que participan 7 países de la UE, el Centro Sociocultural La Fàbrica de Mislata será ejemplo para toda Europa en la aplicación de una plataforma que mejorará el mantenimiento y gestión del edificio
El Ayuntamiento de Mislata, en el marco del evento celebrado en la ciudad italiana Ruvo di Puglia por el proyecto europeo OpenDBL, en el cual Mislata participa como ciudad piloto, ha firmado un acuerdo de pre-hermanamiento con las otras dos ciudades pioneras del proyecto, Ruvo de Puglia (Italia) y Kifissia (Grecia). Los alcaldes de las tres ciudades aprovecharon el encuentro para escenificar la firma de este acuerdo.

El futuro hermanamiento se aprobará en los próximos meses a través de las sesiones plenarias de cada una de las ciudades. Los objetivos de este hermanamiento son fomentar el entendimiento mutuo y la amistad entre la ciudadanía de Mislata, Ruvo y Kifissia; fomentar los intercambios culturales, educativos, juveniles y deportivos; promover las relaciones económicas y comerciales; promover futuros proyectos, valores y acciones comunes de la UE; y compartir buenas prácticas de gobernanza municipal y desarrollo sostenible.

Según afirma el alcalde, Carlos F. Bielsa, "con esta firma garantizamos que Mislata forme parte de futuros proyectos europeos, que siga siendo una ciudad innovadora, que impulsa las políticas europeas, así como el intercambio de experiencias municipales. Vamos a seguir trabajando para fortalecer la cohesión y el progreso en nuestra sociedad, y contaremos con el apoyo de otras ciudades que están avanzando en la misma línea".

Las ciudades se hermanan en busca de incrementar el impacto del proyecto europeo OpenDBL en sus diferentes realidades sociales y hacer de los tres municipios un campo de pruebas de tecnologías y políticas innovadoras. Para ello establecen implementar una colaboración público privada con empresas expertas en la digitalización del sector de la construcción, y esforzarse por utilizar la metodología y la plataforma OpenDBL para mejorar la eficiencia, la sostenibilidad y la innovación.

En este proyecto europeo, participan 13 socios de 7 países (Alemania, Grecia, Italia, Lituania, Polonia, Rumanía y España). Las visitas a todas las ciudades participantes por parte de los socios están subvencionadas con fondos europeos y sirven para que se vaya comprobando el avance del proyecto en cada uno de los municipios. Dentro del programa, el Centro Sociocultural y Deportivo La Fàbrica de Mislata será ejemplo para toda Europa en la aplicación de esta plataforma que mejorará el mantenimiento y gestión del edificio. El encuentro entre todos los socios participantes que tuvo lugar a finales de enero en Mislata, sirvió ya para escanear todo el Centro de La Fábrica, incluyendo la piscina cubierta y el gimnasio, lo que permitirá crear un edificio gemelo digital en 3D. Cuando termine este proceso de digitalización se dotará de sensores que proveerán información del edificio y contribuirán a mejorar el mantenimiento y gestión del mismo, para hacerlo más sostenible y eficiente.

The mayors of Mislata, Ruvo di Puglia, and Kifissia sign the twinning commitment within the framework of a meeting in the Italian city for the European OpenDBL project.

The City Council of Mislata, within the framework of the event held in the Italian city Ruvo di Puglia by the European project OpenDBL, in which Mislata participates as a pilot city, has signed a pre-twinning agreement with the other two pioneer cities of the project, Ruvo from Puglia (Italy) and Kifissia (Greece). The mayors of the three cities took advantage of the meeting to stage the signing of this agreement.
​
The future twinning will be approved in the coming months through the plenary sessions of each of the cities. The objectives of this twinning are to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the citizens of Mislata, Ruvo, and Kifissia; promote cultural, educational, youth, and sports exchanges; promote economic and commercial relations; promote future common EU projects, values, ​​and actions; and share good practices in municipal governance and sustainable development.

According to the mayor, Carlos F. Bielsa, "With this signature we guarantee that Mislata is part of future European projects, that it continues to be an innovative city, that promotes European policies, as well as the exchange of municipal experiences. We will continue working to strengthen cohesion and progress in our society, and we will have the support of other cities that are advancing along the same lines."

The cities are twinning in search of increasing the impact of the European OpenDBL project in their different social realities and making the three municipalities a testing ground for innovative technologies and policies. To this end, they establish implementing a public-private collaboration with companies that are experts in the digitalization of the construction sector and strive to use the OpenDBL methodology and platform to improve efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

In this European project, 13 partners from 7 countries (Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Spain) participate. The visits to all participating cities by the partners are subsidized with European funds and serve to verify the progress of the project in each of the municipalities. Within the program, the La Fàbrica de Mislata Sociocultural and Sports Center will be an example for all of Europe in the application of this platform that will improve the maintenance and management of the building. The meeting between all participating partners that took place at the end of January in Mislata, already served to scan the entire La Fábrica Center, including the indoor pool and gym, which will allow the creation of a 3D digital twin building. When this digitalization process is completed, it will be equipped with sensors that will provide information about the building and will contribute to improving its maintenance and management, to make it more sustainable and efficient.
