Recap of openDBL Public Event in Ruvo Di Puglia, Italy
The openDBL public event took place at Giovanni Bovio School in Ruvo Di Puglia, Italy on April 19th. In case you missed the event, here is a recap for you!
Event Highlights
Italo Spada, the Project Coordinator of openDBL, opened the event and addressed the audience in the presence of Monica Filograno, Deputy Mayor of Ruvo Di Puglia. Participants were invited to join virtually to experience testing and showcasing the latest in sensor integration and immersive VR demos, along with insights from industry experts.
The Mayor Vasilis Xipolitas of Kiffisia, Greece, and Adrià Vila Cucó from Mislata, Spain introduced their pilot sites and their contributions to openDBL.
Mario Caputi from in2it and Jānis Judvaitis from EDI exchanged insights while showcasing graphics and discussing sensor integration.
Davide Arzuffi from in2it showcased the point cloud demo featuring pictures of the school, demonstrating their work process through a video presentation.
CETMA concluded the event with a live demo of Giovanni Bovio School in Virtual Reality, offering an immersive experience for both the students of the school and attendees.
